Mike Keating has been CEO of the Managing General Agents' Association (MGAA) since September 2020, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a successful career across the insurance industry.

He began his career as an underwriter in the company market before joining AXA Commercial in 1999, where he managed strategic MGA and delegated authority partnerships. Mike went on to become Managing Director of AXA’s Personal Lines business (excluding direct). After leaving AXA in 2011, he joined the board of UK General, one of the largest MGAs in the UK, where he led the Commercial portfolio and successfully introduced a targeted strategy for UK regional brokers.

From 2016, Mike held executive roles in the broker sector before partnering with West Hill Capital to launch the Insurtech MGA start-up, Qlaims.

For the second consecutive year, Mike was named in the 2024 Insurance Business Global list, recognising his continued influence and leadership in the industry.
